Julie Reiss, M.S., CCC-SLP is an ASHA certified Bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist. She is the owner and founder of Contra Costa Speech Therapy. With over 15 years in the field, she has experience working in the academic, outpatient, and private practice settings. She has a passion for teaching future Speech-Language Pathologists and enjoys taking classes to expand on her own knowledge. She has a gift of making language learning fun and engaging by tailoring therapy sessions to the diverse strengths, needs, and interests of each child.

Julie earned her bachelor’s degree from Western Washington University and her master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Arizona State University. She holds a specialized certification in bilingual language development for her extensive training in this area. She is fluent in English and Spanish and is studying Portuguese. Outside of the office, you will find Julie creating artwork, teaching and training capoeira, and spending time with friends and family.
